The Challenge At Hand
As official sponsors of the Supercars in New Zealand, Battery Zone gave us the challenge of creating a unique campaign that would be displayed trackside during the 2019 Supercars in NZ.
Our goal was to grow brand awareness and generate in-store, phone and online enquiries.
Our Ideas And Pitch
As a new brand, differentiating oneself in the market, we believe, is essential.
So to stand out at the Supercars, we proposed a bespoke stop-motion animation that could be used not only trackside but also across-social media platforms during other Supercars rounds.
The Client's Results
For this campaign, we created something truly unique and visually grabbing, which could be seen by all of the people that stopped to watch the advert at the NZ Supercars.
Additionally, the video has been produced to be evergreen so that Battery Zone has ongoing social PPC material.
Behind The Scenes
We love New Zealand and the Supercars, so this campaign was perfect for AusGarage.
Working with Sean, our stop-start animation expert, Sean cut out around 4000 pieces and took two weeks to film what ended up being a 30-second spot. The results we feel were worth it.
